Join us May 1 May 8, 2020 At the end of March, the YMCA of Central East Ontario was faced with the difficult decision to cancel the YMCA Run for the Kids in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. When we reflected on the reality that this was the first time in 42 years that the YMCA would not be hosting a fundraising running event, we realized that what we would miss the most was the sense of connectedness that a large event brings.... We can stay connected to each other, the spirit of this great event and the cause we believe in by participating in this event remotely. We invite you to join from your community. Calling all super heroes! Register for the Kids 1K Fun Run at the Run for the Kids and you'll be helping to support the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. Strong Kids allows children and families to be part of the YMCA community, regardless of financial barriers. How awesome is that?

All proceeds support the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, which provides local children, youth and families with access to healthy recreation, programming and day camp opportunities, regardless of their financial situation.
