Spending my Sunday doing product shots for a local T'sustweye Women's Entrepreneur and Innovation Network project. Since the products are nice and small, I was able to rig up a DIY mini softbox to showcase the products. The box is customized with white foam board lining the inside and a mini LED lighting system attached under the lid. With the product hole in the top, this little box is perfect for cell phone product pics! Also, both sides of the box are outfitted with ...diffusers so that off-camera flashes can be pointed on either side. This allows me to shoot with the box open from above with a more professional camera. Check it out, the finished product is perfect!

I recently got to spend an hour getting to know this lovely lady and her two furry friends - My winner from the great Christmas tree giveaway contest came to claim her prize! And she picked just the right moment to do it

Spring sport is back in action and P.Tography Sports is proud to announce full partnership with the Chase Minor Sports Leagues in 2021 - from Hockey, to Soccer, and now Baseball. I can't wait to meet the athletes AND showcase my new 2021 product designs. Game on!!

I met Rob years ago, playing volleyball with him and the rest of the Tappen farmers down at Carlin during the winter months. I'm pretty sure I was the only guy there that wasn't a farmer, and because of that, I stuck out like a sore thumb. That didn't deter me though, being different seems to be where I shine and what people remember about me the most. I still went week after week, year after year, and in the process I made the some of the unlikeliest of friends that I proba...bly would never have met without continuing to play. All these years later, I know his family well and every so once in a while, they'll invite me out to the farm to capture their family pics, This year however, I might have captured some of my favorite images of just him and his lovely wife, Sue - This being one of them. Together for decades, a successful and very well respected dairy farm, a beautiful family of 5 children to call their own, and now grandchildren. I hope their legacy and family line lives on in our community for as long as possible. Until we can play again, Roberto - meow!

This wedding was almost 7 or 8 years ago now, celebrated out in Seymour Arm, British Columbia. The bride and groom came here all the way from Victoria to celebrate their big day in one of the most beautiful and secluded places in the shuswap. For those who have galleries with me from more than a year ago - this is an important message for you!! I am migrating to a new photo delivery service. This means that I am leaving my old one behind which also means that your archived files will no longer be archived. If you have a gallery with me from the last 8 years and you haven't downloaded all of your images from your galleries yet, I strongly encourage you to do so soon, as they won't be around to access much longer.... I am hoping to complete the migration by the summer, so you have until June 1 to get it done, (although I wouldn't wait until then if you can help it ) Feel free to reach out with any questions, I'm happy to help! I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to each and every one of you that helped contribute to donating to this cause this year. With your help, we were able to donate $940 to the Second Harvest -Shuswap this holiday season. As promised, ALL extra proceeds from the tree farm sessions at Jim's Ucut Christmas Tree Farm were donated to the cause. It doesn't take a whole lot to do something for others. If this year has taught us anything, it should be kindness and compassion. There's still time to help somebody in need, don't hesitate to make it count With that said, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I hope that as many people as possible are able to enjoy this holiday season in one way or another. My sincere thanks to all the families that came out to play in the trees this weekend at Jim's Ucut Christmas Tree Farm! So many families have come to find the perfect tree and make some timeless memories at the same time. With extra image/gallery proceeds going to the Second Harvest -Shuswap, we are already half way to our goal of $1000 with two weeks to go.
