Police recruits from Squad 115 volunteered this past Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the International Children's Memorial Place (ICMA) located at Scales Pond in South Freetown, PE. The recruits planted trees during the event. The mission of the ICMA is to promote and foster the health and well-being of individuals and/or families who grieve for the physical or emotional loss of a child. The Atlantic Police Academy (Holland College) graduated eight Community Safety Officers this morning from its new 5-Week First Nations Community Safety Officer Program. Thank you to the Mushuau Innu and the community of Natuashish, Labrador, for this opportunity and experience! Good luck to the graduating officers and be safe.
