November 23 is Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Every student who rides a bus to school benefits if it's a good ride with a caring driver so they arrive at school in the right frame of mind to learn. Thanks to the bus drivers who help give our kids a good day of learning!

November 20 is National Child Day and World Children's Day. We join with public school colleagues across Canada and around the world in celebrating children and promoting these important days.
Local Government Week in Saskatchewan continues as some local elections are complete and others were delayed by the blizzard. If the elections aren't complete in your area, please get out and vote for school board trustees (and others). These trustees influence your children's education every day.
November 11 is Remembrance Day. Please take some time to remember those veterans who fought for our country so that we can enjoy the freedom we experience on a daily basis.
