This Friday, we're keeping things out on the west coast to our location on 5555 192nd St in Surrey, B.C. This store has been around since the 1980's, which was a celebration of big hair, rock music staples and...The Rubik's Cube. We opened the store in 1980, the year the Rubik's Cube arrived on the market and soared to becoming one of the most popular games of all time. We still can't figure out how to solve the cube, but we make sure renting a storage unit isn't nearly as complicated! This is one of many reasons why our store made the Three Best Rated: https://threebestrated.ca/storage-units-in-surrey-bc
#HappyMonday! Is your office space tidy and organized or is it organized chaos? The messy desk advocates may roll their eyes at this, but having a clean desk is beneficial for a number of reasons. Here's a few: 1. Increased productivity 2. Less stress. Our brains are wired to enjoy organization and we feel stressed when we see a mess 3. We're more likely to make healthier choices (eating healthier, working out, etc) Are you someone who chooses a clean desk or do you like a bit of mess?
For our first #FunFactFriday, we head out west to our store in Vancouver, B.C. #DidYouKnow that one of Vancouver's mayors used to earn just $1 a year? Yup, in the 1950's, Mayor Fred Hume's annual salary for his 7-year term was just a buck. Incidentally, over 60 years later, $1 also just happens to be the amount of rent you pay for your first month of self-storage. How's that for an historical anomaly? Problem Solved.
We all know that Fridays are great for a number of reasons, BUT they're also a great way to talk about some fun facts. We're lucky enough that a number of our stores have been listed on Top Three Best Rated, so we thought our #FunFactFriday will be to feature a number of our stores that made the list. So stay tuned!
A new month with new opportunities! #HelloFebruary

Create a family communication centre in an area where stuff commonly piles up by using a wall-magnet calendar and a basket to hold receipts, notes and to-dos. The best part? It only takes 30 minutes to throw it all together!
With the seasons changing and the temperatures dropping, storing your stuff in a temperature-controlled unit is a good idea to protect your valuables! Find out the details below
