Last week's staycation - not the planned vacation, but 1) saved us a lot of money 2) was needed to rejuvenate. Family time with my favourites was simply awesome.

My heart is broken for the people of Lebanon. They have been experiencing such pain and hardship and now today's explosion. Here is how we can help.

This is Europe in the 1930s. Americans, please, vote out Trump in November. Your country, fellow American citizens, the world, is counting on you to be do the right thing and get Trump out of office. Please, do whatever you can to help get out the vote.... The rest of the world can only sit and wait and pray that Americans can get out and vote (amidst the voter suppression, gerrymandering and flat out cheating (Georgia as just one example). I just ordered this book - I can't wait to get it! Thanks to Hanieh and Shabana for writing this book.

I hope people watch this, listen and will understand the long-lasting impact of systemic racism. I hope people will have conversations as the first step in dismantling this system. It (institutions and policies) needs to re-imagined, and everyone must have a seat at the table.
