Pundits' Guide 14.01.2021

Time to start posting some notes from the Election we just had.

Pundits' Guide 07.01.2021

Former Bloc Québécois MP Paul Mercier passes away. RIP.

Pundits' Guide 27.12.2020

The first thing I've been working on here is to: * Like the major parties (check) * Like the leaders of the major parties (check) * Start "Like"-ing all the MPs and recent by-election candidates I can find, working east to west. I've gotten as far as the Saguenay so far.... So, if I haven't "Like"d your favourite MP or federal candidate yet, why not post them in a comment below. I won't play favourites, though I will try and keep moving methodically east to west, so I can pay attention to any patterns I might find. Another thing: it seems Facebook Pages like this one can't "Friend" personal profiles, the same way another personal profile can. This is a bummer, because some MPs use personal profiles instead of Facebook Pages. I'll have to figure that out next. Always something new to learn. --PG

Pundits' Guide 11.12.2020

Welcome to PG on FB! I decided to set up this Facebook page as a companion to the website's blog, in order to make sharing links about nomination news a little easier. All the usual other venues for sending along quiet tips or anonymous heads-up are still available as well, of course. You can find me at [email protected] or @punditsguide on Twitter. Links about nomination news, leaders' tour events, riding events and the like are welcomed from across the country, across t...he political spectrum, et dans les deux langues officielles. Friendly cross-partisan banter is fine. Partisan scolding, personal attacks, and unpleasant mau-mau-ing will disappear into the ether. If you know my commenting policy at Pundits' Guide, none of this will be a surprise. The page will also "Like" as many federal electoral entities and personalities as I can find, in order to stay on top of the latest comings and goings. OK, let's see how this goes, folks...
