Echo was rescued by Keri after suffering abuse from his previous owners. She decided to adopt him despite he was hostile. He growls, bares his teeth, barks, bites and isolates himself as a result of post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. It is nothing but fear. Echo hardly allowed Keri to feed him, walk him and much less to approach him for petting him. Over the time, Echo accepted Keri as his mom and began showing her love and affection. But just to Keri. Earlier this... year Keri decided to enjoy some vacations but it was really hard for her to hire someone to take over Echo. She knew about me and after having a meet and greet and allowing me to know meticulously about his conduct (Well, it was really evident) I decided to accept. At the beginning, of course, it was really challenging for me, but as the days went by he accepted me to feed him and to walk him. I showed him nothing but respect and never trespassed his space. At some point it was noticeable he was having a good time and after our walks he let me know he didn’t want me to go. Sometimes we judge some dogs because of their appearance but we don’t see beyond. Although I knew the situation was risky, patience, compassion and respect were mandatory. Dogs are nothing but love and they have such a big heart. Echo reminded me that we not only deserve one more chance, but two, three, four and as many as possible. Thanks Echo and Keri

Hope showed me excellent results in terms of minimizing notoriously some of her bad behaviors such as barking, lunging and pulling the leash while being walked, and the most important thing: she reduced notoriously her levels of aggression towards other dogs and successfully learned to socialize with them!
