New podcast alert! #CostaRica reopened its borders to international travelers from several countries this month (more to come in September) so it feels like a great time to (finally!) be able to share this podcast recording with all of you. A few months ago, Lee from We Travel There had me on his show to talk about the town of #LaFortuna, one of my favorite destinations in Costa Rica. I was giddy with glee while recording this particular podcast because La Fortuna holds such ...a special place in my heart. We packed TONS of info into our chat; coverage includes the basics, like reasons to visit La Fortuna, where you should stay in La Fortuna, things you should experience in La Fortuna, and where and what you should eat in La Fortuna, plus fun extras like my favorite story about the town and how I ended up in La Fortuna in the first place. If you have any interest in visiting Costa Rica, especially La Fortuna, or if you just want to momentarily escape the pandemic and direct your thoughts toward something different, check out this podcast recording. If you love travel in general and have several destinations on your bucket list, consider subscribing to Lee's podcast, which features top cities and regions worth visiting around the world. Gracias Moon Travel Guides and Tink Media (@heytinkmedia on Insta) for facilitating this podcast connection, and to Lee for featuring me on his highly informative show. #podcasts #interviews #travel #traveltips #travelwithmoon #entrepreneurs #dreams To learn more about La Fortuna (and all of Costa Rica), please consider picking up a copy of my Costa Rica #guidebook, Moon Costa Rica (2019). It's currently available for purchase in bookstores around the world and through online sellers like Amazon. Links to where you can buy the book are available on Moon.com #PuraVida amigos! :)

Hey Facebook! We're hard at work writing the second edition of our #CostaRica #guidebook Moon Costa Rica with @moonguides and we cannot wait to share it with you in 2021. In the meantime, while we all wait for the world to embrace international travel again, we'll be sharing some of our favorite pics of Costa Rica to help inspire you to explore this beautiful, wildlife-packed, and culturally rich country as soon as it's safe to do so. This photo, of Catarata Bajos d...el Toro (the Bajos del Toro Waterfall), is similar to the snapshot that graces the cover of the first edition of Moon Costa Rica. Which destination or attraction do you think should be featured on the second edition of the book? #Puravida amigos! Photo credit: @puravidaeh Ricky & Nikki Solano See more

5 Ways Costa Rica's Mantra, Pura Vida, Can Help You Get Through The COVID-19 Pandemic What is pura vida? In Costa Rican vernacular, the phrase you'll hear muttered most often by Ticos (Costa Ricans) is pura vida.
