This is me, laying on a yoga block to put my back into extension and self massage between my shoulder blades. As a therapist, it is so important to practice self care and I have been so busy lately, lack of self care is catching up with me. Tight upper back & shoulders has led to nerve compression, creating weakness and radiating pain down my arm. I had my husband cup me, along with some heat and my TENS machine. Don’t worry!! So woke up and couldn’t step and put pressure on my left foot. I call this Cup Loading and works like a charm! This particular client suffers from chronic pain which leads to migraines and massage is what keeps her sane. This session I decided to Cup Load a multiple group of muscles, rather than target one muscle group. The release is Ahmazing!! Her migraine went from an 8 to a 2 within our 90min session.
