Just finished editing this maternity session I shot before Christmas. I can't decide what I like more - the studio images or the outdoor images. They are all gorgeous! Isn't this mama beautiful? And, she has already delivered her baby, and so I am looking forward to meeting her and doing her newborn session this coming weekend. Yay! Here's my "Best of 2020", part 2. I could easily do a part 3, part 4... but I have to cut off somewhere! Happy New Year everyone! Here's to a better 2021!

2020 has been quite a year, hasn't it? While there have been multiple limitations and frustrations, I am thankful that my business not only survived the spring quarantine, but has continued to grow! I am so glad that so many of you did not let Covid stop you from living life and preserving precious memories. With a few safeguards in place, we have been able to continue to capture important milestones like maternity, newborn, birthdays, and graduation, and my fall and Christm...as sessions were a huge hit! Last night, I went through my 2020 sessions, and picked about 200 favourites! That is too many to share, so I picked a small handful of my faves. This is part 1 of my "Best of 2020". Please don't be offended if your session was not included. I have MANY more favourites, but tried to include a representative sample. If any of you have been thinking about booking a session, today is the LAST day to lock in 2020 pricing. I have been working very hard this past year, and my skills have greatly improved, so my rates will be going up for 2021. My business has been expanding, even booming, and I am grateful and don't take it for granted, especially during a pandemic. I will still provide great service for a good value, and I will certainly not be the most expensive photographer in Saskatoon, b...ut I am going to align my business practices (and prices) more with industry standards, so I can limit the clients I take on, but provide exceptional service to them. I am excited about this next chapter for Pure Light Photography, and I look forward to working with many of you this coming year, whether you are new followers or repeat clients. I wasn't going to work this week, but... I really wanted to get this sneak peek out, since I had made good progress before Christmas. Newborns are my favourite sessions, but maternity might be a close second! This new mama looked so beautiful and radiant, and I am so glad the weather cooperated to do a portion outdoors.
