Here is my total daily caloric expenditure for a typical day by 9:30pm using my new #garminvenu . 3278 calories burned ( some active calories... a massive 1.5h hike with my@kids and resting calories based on bodytype) . That’s almost double the avg persons daily caloric intake! . I’m an ectomorph ,42 years of age; training for 25 years (weights alone) and weight 196lbs and 13.1% bodyfat! . Because I move make moving my Ass a daily Non Negotiable and don’t sit on my ass, im able to eat 3278+ calories per day min to maintain my weight . For some of you it’s 2 days worth of food so don’t think gaining size is easy! . The day was first introduced in 1991 to raise awareness about diabetes: its causes, its prevention and the devastating effects it has on human lives and healthcare systems worldwide. . ... Many people don’t know the difference? -Type 2 the most primarily common or due to poor lifestyle choices ( overeating glucose, not exercising enough & their bodies becomes insulin resistant). -Type 1 diabetics are born with an auto immune disorder in which the pancreas begins to fail to produce enough -or any insulin and thus the patient cannot absorb any glucose consumed & eventually leads to complicated health concerns & permanent insulin injection therapy! . World Diabetes Day was created on November 14 to commemorate the birthday of the genius & god sent angel to earth Canadian born Frederick Banting, whose work with Charles Best led to the discovery of insulin in 1921. .
