Always a good reminder

We've missed you! We are very excited to announce that Phase 2 of Alberta's re-launch strategy will be in effect as of Friday, June 12th. Originally, this phase wasn't set to launch until closer to June 19th, so we took advantage of the closure to start a few little projects (without giving away too many surprises!). Unfortunately, we hit a few snags along the way, so we won't be quite ready to re-open by this Friday. We should only need a few extra days though, so we are goi...ng to start booking clients as of Monday, June 15th and onward. Please note though, that each therapist will be deciding on their own personal start date and which days/times they will be booking, as it works for them. ***RE-BOOKING PROCEDURE:*** *We will start by contacting and re-booking everyone that had their appointments cancelled (due to COVID-19) first, then we will book our regular clients in order of first come, first served. After that, we will accept new client bookings if space allows. We will be keeping a cancellation list, which again will work on a first come, first served and availability basis.* We ask that you please be patient with us as we try to keep up with the incoming calls and texts. We will return messages as soon as possible. We will be working as hard as we can to fit everyone in, so that we can get back to our regularly rotating schedules soon. Please keep an eye on your emails and our Facebook page as we will be sending out more updates, announcements and new protocols and procedures as we get a little closer to next week. ***UPDATE*** As of Friday, March 27th, 2020, the Alberta government has mandated that all non-essential businesses, including massage therapy, be closed and remain closed until the threat of COVID-19 has passed. We at Pure had already made the decision to do the right thing and close last week. We had hoped to reopen in April, however, we will remain closed now, until our government lifts the current restrictions in effort to keep our friends, families, and our valued client...s safe and healthy. We will make sure to keep you updated as things continue to change. *If any of you are having any issues with pain and stiffness, please feel free to get a hold of us and we will do our best to give you some hints and tips for self-care strategies that will help ease your aches and pains at home. We miss all of you, and hope that you are staying healthy and stretching lots! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The time has come... as difficult as it was from a business perspective, the decision to close temporarily was an easy one, for the greater good of our clients, our families, our friends, and our community. We are hoping to be back in business by April, but will continue to monitor the situation and make decisions as we go. We will be in touch with each of our cancelled clients to reschedule soon. In the meantime, we hope you are all able to enjoy this time spent at home with your loved ones. Rest, catch up on your to-do lists, get back to nature, play games, stretch and be creative... I think this break could do us all some good if we embrace it. Be well!

*Stay calm, stay educated, be smart, safe and kind, and most importantly, wash your hands!* Things are getting a little crazy out there, but rest assured, we are here to help you stay relaxed and informed throughout these uncertain times. For now, it will be business as usual here at Pure, with the addition of some extra cleanliness measures, over and above our regular safe hygiene practices. In return, we ask that you follow the recommendations of our provincial and feder...al governments, to maintain the health and safety of our therapists, their friends and families, and of course, our other clients. If you have recently travelled internationally or by plane, or may have been exposed to someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you postpone your appointment for at least 2 weeks. Also, as at any other time, if you have any cold or flu like symptoms, we also ask that you reschedule your massage for a later time. Yup, its almost time to get back into a routine where did the summer go?!

Summer is here, and we, at Pure, are making the most of it! Our office hours will be extremely limited for the next 2 weeks, as all of our therapists are taking turns in the sand and sun. If you need to reach us, please send us a private message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We hope you are all out enjoying your summer too, making lots of sunny memories!

I have been meaning to book with Devan since she joined Pure and today I finally experienced my first (but not last!) CranioSacral massage! If you have been thinking about trying it, please do! I have terrible headaches and tightness in my neck at times and for the past three weeks I have been struggling with both. I feel a difference after the treatment today and I have also never been so relaxed during a treatment. I didnt really know what to expect so here are a couple ...of key points; *you are laying on your back for the duration of the treatment and remain fully clothed. *it is a very gentle touch so quite different for those of you that are used to deep pressure. Go in with an open mind and I think youll be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy your Easter Weekend! -Bharb
