We at PurEnvi have decided that we really need to do something for those of you who have shown your endurance during this long haul, by waiting it out for us to re-open! How could we do this.... Dearest clients / friends, We are living through a very unprecedented time. Mid March, many of us salon owners decided to close our doors before we were mandated to. And with news of how the COVID19 is spreading, it confirms that it has been the right choice. The reality is we are not sure when it will be safe to open our doors, so we are unable to give even a best guestimate. As an industry we are all worried about our future, and as small business owners, we worry not ...only for the future of our spa, but also for the health and well being of our staff, clients and families. Our industry is based on relationships, and as estheticians and stylists, we will greatly miss our conversations and spending time with you all. I know many of you were just about due for your next appointment, but before you consider going out and buying products from the supermarket and supporting big industries, maybe hold off until we re-open so you can support your local business and service providers who care so much about you. Besides, we’re all supposed to stay away from social gathering anyway. We can get a giggle at our hair and nail regrowth a literal timeline for how long we’ve been isolated. And even as your service providers, we’ll all be in the same boat when we get up and running. Many clients have asked what they can do to help us out. Some have offered to buy gift certificates for when we re-open. If that is what you’d like to do, reach out and we can discuss how to make that possible. We may also consider delivery for all of you who are running low on products (within a reasonable distance). Again, reach out to us if that is something that may interest you. Dear clients regarding upcoming appointments. Ottawa Public Health's chief medical doctor is recommending people cancel non essential services. . If you have travelled in the last two weeks, we ask that you postpone your appointment according to what the Ottawa Public Health recommends for self isolation. ... We want to let you all know that we sanitize all surfaces after every client - including the debit/credit machine, chairs, light switches, washrooms, and all door knobs/handles. We're also only taking up to 2 pedicures or manicures at a time, leaving the middle stations closed to observe a safe social distance, as well as allowing our stylists to move and use different stations to allow for an empty station in between them. We will be removing all non essentials client items ie: candy bowls, tester and magazines - please ask us for our WiFi password, so you may browse the internet on your own device. . Although we will be open, we have decided to rebook all facial-related services ie: facial waxing, facial treatments and electrolysis services on the face until at least the 6th of April. Esthetic services on all other areas of the body will continue to be booked as usual. If you have an appointment booked that is affected by this new policy, please call or email us to let us know if you like to wait and see how everything unfolds, or if you'd like to rebook now for after April 6th. .
