Yup, Never ending laundry at the clinic! WE ARE STILL OPEN We pride ourselves with our policies and procedures we have in place since our reopen in the spring. NO MASK, no service. Please arrive no more than 5mins before your appointment. You will have your temperature take. and a Covid release form to sign before every visit. If you are experiencing any symptoms, please call to cancel your appointment, we will find another time slot that will better suit you.... Please don’t come to clinic with symptoms. NO WALK-Ins accepted- book by appointment only. The clinic has a strict cleaning schedule for the safety of all. NO BLANKETS on massage tables, just sheets. Your welcome to bring your own blanket for comfort. We still use heat packs and have heated tables. Your therapist will be wearing a mask and glasses. The therapists room has a strict cleaning regime to clean all touched surfaces well. when lying face down on the massage table it’s welcomed to wear your mask while lying face down, but isn’t necessary. However the mask needs to be close to you as you will have to put it on immediately upon turning to prone position or side lying. There is hand sanitizer stations throughout clinic and washrooms available for use. Please respect social distancing when waking within the clinic to enter or exit- mask is mandatory throughout. Raise money for Lloydminster Region Health Foundation as we give back to our healthcare community this Christmas.

Like many, we have been told to respect our elders! However, today we need to do more than just respect them. And donating to @lloydrhf is the perfect opportunity to do just that. Carey will be joining the @shaunnewmanpodcast at 6pm to help bring @mikeydubzjr to the finish line of his 12hour runathon to encourage all of us to pay close attention to our Health region. Carey is personally donating $1 for every km Mike runs and if he runs more than 100km, she will doubl...e it! TUNE IN! As seen here, Carey enjoys her time with her grandmother’s who depend on Long Term Care. These visits show her family first-hand just how happy the simple things in life make a person. The memories that are shared are valuable. They teach us of hardships that were had and how they persevered. Everyone has a story to tell. It’s our job to pull up a chair and listen to the older generation. Through this last year experiencing a global pandemic that threatens her grandparent lives, she is thrilled to see an opportunity to help support the Health Foundation who know we need to commit some effort and money into our long term care facilities to help get families back in. Creating a safe room for a loved one to visit without a mask so your loved one can hear you and see your face would perhaps put a sparkle back into their eyes. Carey loves the FaceTime opportunities and sees a need for more iPads and such for loved ones to stay in touch from afar. These care homes perhaps need relief with more workers on staff- families used to be able to enter these places and help with everyday care such as feeding, brushing hair, clipping nails. Now it’s all on the staff to entertain, set up loved ones to communicate to their families, bath, show them love and attention as a family member would have, etc. So yes, respect your elders. But, more importantly today let’s show them how much we love them. Anatomy Geek Alert Mackenzie went hunting this weekend and ended up with a cool video of what healthy fascia looks like. That shiny web like substance is the fascia that feeds nutrients into our muscles. Fascia attaches, stabilizes, encloses, & separates muscles and other internal organs.
