CREATE A MORE EFFECTIVE BENCH DIP The bench dip very common exercise. It only requires a bench (or two benches), or a STEP. The goal is to work the triceps muscle. But does it ? During a standard Bench Dip, it is the frontal deltoid that is doing most of the work, because it is the muscle mostly responsible for operating the upper arm lever in the pathway of this particular movement. However, most people have no intention of working their frontal deltoid when doing Bench Di...ps. This movement creates very little benefit for the triceps, and worse, this particular movement works the frontal deltoid through its riskiest range of motion - the extreme stretch. Changing the depth of your Bench Dip so that you do not exceed a 45 degree angle isolates the tricep, reduces the strain on the front deltoid, and keeps the exercise within your natural movement. Your hands should be shoulder-width apart on the surface you are dipping from, with your arms straight. From there you dip down until your arms are at a 45-degree angle, then straighten them out again, raising your body.

Great nutrition post from Coach Dylan @coach.dylan.fgf I LOVE all things Peanut Butter, and Peanut Butter & Chocolate. Peanut Butter toast was one of my go-to snacks. I NEVER measured out a real serving size. I would always put a nice thick layer on my toast so that it was extra tasty.... What I didnt know back then, is how many calories I was consuming. I always figured I was putting "about one serving" on my toast. But in fact, I was putting triple that or even more. So if your goal is weight loss, and you have a favorite snack that you dont ever measure, maybe reconsider that! You might be consuming A LOT more extra calories than you think.

The dreaded after meal bloat. You know, the one where you have to unbutton your pants because its so uncomfortable. Do you know what it feels like? Its no secret that the feeling of belly bloat is horrible, embarrassing and something we all wish we could avoid.... Fortunately, there are a few suggestions to help: Step 1: Take a daily probiotic: Probiotic bacteria found in fermented foods like yogurt help promote better digestion and fight bloat or you can take a quality probiotic supplement. Step 2: Chew well and focus on digestion: The first part of digestion starts in your mouth. So make sure to be mindful when youre eating and chew your food thoroughly. Veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts can lead to bloating and/or water retention as well, as they ferment in the digestive tract. Its important to eat these veggies in moderation (if youve noticed a problem). Step 3: Change your eating habits: Add anti-inflammatory foods to your meal plan. Things like berries and green leafy veggies filled with antioxidants, hemp seeds, and foods with plenty of omega-3 like wild caught salmon etc. Step 4: Focus on gut health: This means eating right, getting enough sleep, reducing stress levels, and healing your gut. Remember, gut health is at the root of everything Step 5: Take a digestive enzyme: Take approximately 20 minutes before you start eating a large meal. Taking enzymes and eating the right foods, in the right proportions, can promote the growth of good bacteria in your gut which fight that feeling of fullness. Still having problems?
