Because a lot happened this year, and I’m ok with the fact that I gained all this weight ! I know I’m capable of losing it all once I put my mind into it again. I opened my lunch restaurant, got hit with COVID-19, suffered a major financial loss, rebranded and fully renovated again within couple months, had my first upper endoscopy and told it could be cancer, waited 3 months before getting tested again to confirm it wasn’t, found out I was pregnant, flew to Montréal for few... days, moved homes upon my return, went into early labour at 17 weeks and required urgent surgery, went into labour again at 22 weeks, had my baby die in my arms, suffered (and still suffering) serious postpartum complications that I was told I’m lucky to have survived........All while trying to manage a home, a successful busy business and be a wife and a mom to 3 kids who have been home for longer than I can remember. 30 lbs gain doesn’t look or feel good on me ! But I’m here, alive, staying positive, trying so hard to heal and looking forward to getting a grip on life again. I guess you really never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have ! Through all of this, I still feel blessed because I’m a person of faith and believe that god always has better plans. This year will be a new beginning for me. If you’re ready to join, I’m here to help and support you, don’t hesitate to reach out. And remember, you’re not alone because we all have our struggles
