While it hasn’t been the same type of holiday gathering we’re used to, I hope you all found time to be with the ones you love - IRL or virtually. Here’s to sunny days ahead, with full hearts and full tables.

Big week of birthdays for us over here. Next up is this guy! The most fun, hardworking and lovable guy around who treats all his girls like gold. We love ya so much, Spence!

This is THREE! Happy Birthday to our sweet little A. Ava was the first little one in the family and holds a special place in all of our hearts!

Father’s Day 2020- the craziest storm quickly followed by sunshine and this insane rainbow! We were all gathered together for dinner and got to run out and enjoy it- another great memory from the summer. We also looooove Fall in Ontario and cant wait for more colours! @allegrashaw

And that’s a wrap on our distillation for lavender essential oil for 2020! This centuries-old process is done with our copper still right here on the farm. Its a slow and labour-intensive project as the lavender has to be freshly cut and the still is manned all day, keeping an eye on the boiling temps and keeping the still sealed. It’s so interesting to see which varieties of lavender yield the most oil and we learn more and more about this process every year. Everything we h...ave learned to date paid off this year as we extracted LITRES of both English and French lavender oil. It’s pure, organic and has so many wonderful therapeutic properties. We loved hearing this summer all the ways you guys use your oil- in your diffusers, on the bottom of your feet before bed, a few drops on your eye pillow or in the bath. We are still catching a breath from so many amazing moments this summer. This one was definitely a highlight! Andrew reached out for us to help coordinate a secret proposal (hidden photographer and all ). We subtly had all other guests leave as we shut for the day so the couple could have complete privacy in the fields. Well, except for the talented @lightandshadowphoto there to capture it all! Was so fun! Thrilled they came to us for this occasion @ Purple Hill Lavender Farm

We are now CLOSED for the rest of the season! See you in 2021 :) We are truly humbled by all of the support we received this year-it was wonderful to welcome all of your happy faces every weekend. We were touched by how much you all loved this place as much as we do! Thank you! Exciting new collaboration with another locally owned, female-run business! We’ve paired up with @backwooddesignco to create a few custom wood charcuterie boards- with lavender detailing of course! We have a very small amount available in our shop this weekend OR you can DM/email to purchase, they will go fast!

Loving our new bud vases from At Home Interiors in Collingwood! @athomeinteriorscwd We bought a couple of these vases to use as table centre pieces last weekend and now have them scattered across our gift shop! Dried lavender makes an easy and long-lasting table decor. Put in a vase, no water, leave out of direct sunlight and enjoy for up to a year! Easy peasy.

A friend shared this with us and now we are obsessed with figuring out how to recreate a similar experience for our guests next year! What do you think? We cannot tell you how much we appreciate you being so respectful of our property!
