From HHR site: Having received notification from the municipal governments of Quinte West and Port Hope, it is with immense disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of the 12th edition of the Heroes Highway Ride & Rally previously scheduled for June 6, 2020. The HHR will return in its full glory on june 5, the 1st Saturday in June, of 2021.... We urge you to keep an eye on our website and Facebook group for further updates as some type of smaller and informal demonstration ride may still happen on June 6th, governmental gathering guidelines permitting. This years Ride for Disabled Vets will be on 09 May 2020. Starting in Stittsville.

Well everyone it is that time of year again cold weather is coming and bikes are being put in storage some are holding out to those that are please ride safe cage drives don’t see us in the summer so you can be sure they don’t see you now. As for Put A Patch we are shutting down for the winter. This our time to ride yes we are gone to Florida soon. We want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and we will see you in the spring.

From Johnny Racine Calling on all brothers and sisters urgent! I will have the opportunity to remove everything from the shop and move it over at 6 PM tomorrow evening. I hate posting stuff like this but in this case it must be done so we can setup asap and get out of that place and leave it behind us before anything else happens. This guy is not to be trusted. Good Day All Put A Patch will be at Rosies Rodeo & Roast all day on Friday 19 Jul, unfortunately we cannot stay the weekend because we will be at the BACA Porker ride on Saturday 20 Jul.

Out in Renfrew today for Teen Challenge Ride and Rodeo. All setup waiting for the riders to arrive. 568 Castleford Rd.

We had a great time at Rendezvous Rideau Motorcycle Rally in Smiths Falls. Now it is on to our next event Teen Challenge Canada Freedom Ride 2019 the ride starts at Canadian Gears on Sunday July 13th. We will not be there to see you off but to welcome you to the finishing point so put your patches in your pockets, chaps in your bags and while you are wondering around doing all the other fun things to do there Janice will Put A Patch where you want it.

Well let the fun start we are setup at Wildman Rodeo & Stomp in South Dundas just south of Winchester Springs. If you get a chance to stop by we have some new products for sale Vests, Vest Extenders, Bandanas and of course Janice is doing her on the spot sewing Put A Patch on your vest.

Next event we will be at is Wildmans Rodeo & Stomp. Those that are attending please drop by the trailer and see what is new and get those patches put on or your gear fixed up if need be.

We hope everyone has a safe and fun filled long weekend. We will be fine tuning our mobile division this weekend for our next event the 8th Annual Cadet Dice ride 26 May 2019. We are also hoping to get a ride or two in this weekend too.

Another event that we support and will be attending with onsite sewing is the 2804 Dice Run in support of the Army Cadets in Casselman on 26 May 2019. We look forward to seeing you all there. visit them on facebook for all the details.

Just a reminder 11 May 2019 is the Ride for Disabled Vets in Stittsville.

Well the mobile division of Put A Patch is coming along well. Which is good considering we will be at the Ride for Disabled Vets in Stittsville at the Brown’s Independent Grocer on 11 May 2019, hope to see you there. Bring your patches or any other sewing requirements. If we cannot fix them on the spot we will bring them back to home base and get them back to you as soon as possible.

Well Jeff arrived home on Friday and he brought our update to Put-A-Patch with him. We are looking forward to attending more rallies this summer with this upgrade. It will allow us to bring the sewing to you. Once we have all the government paper work to import it completed we will be attending more events.

While Jeff is still in Florida, Janice has returned home to Ottawa. If you need any work done on your riding gear give her a call and she will fit you in.

Ride for Disabled Vets 11 May 2019, is a ride that is close close to our hearts. Jeff is a vet and some of his buddies use the services that this ride supports. So please come out and support our Veterans.

Well Janice bought a pair of boots and they weren't big enough in the calf so she made an insert to expand them. If you are a little bigger in the calf and have a pair of boots that are tight give her a call and see if something like this will work fir you.

Just a reminder for our CMC friends if you are going on one of the two rides this long weekend now is a good time to look over your gear and see if it needs any last minute repairs. Only two weeks until you leave. Let us know so we can get you ready to ride.

Even though riding season has not officially started we are please to help spread the word of a few more rides. There is the Ride for Disabled Vets 12 May, this is close to Jeff's heart as he served 35 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and knows of a few folks that directly benefit from what this ride provides, next it the Highway of Heroes Ride on 2 Jun, this is another ride that is close to Jeff's heart during his service he lost some friends along the way, may they all RI...P. Another upcoming ride is the Ride for Dad 2 Jun, it helps spread the word about prostate cancer and as a reminder for men to get a check up. Good Day All, One of Put A Patches friends sent this video to me. The video is of Rosie Gabrielle a young and fantastic woman we met while we were at the HOG Rally 2017 celebrating Harley Davidson's 100th birthday. It turned out that she didn't know much about her fathers military background and as Jeff is a vet he was able to explaining to her what some of the patches she was wearing on her dads vest were, it seems that she was very thankful for the information she was kind ...enough to include Put A Patch in her video. We would like to thank Rosie for her shout out and we were so happy that we could shed some light on her what her dad had done and accomplished in the past and Janice got to do some sewing for her too. Hi everyone well spring is here according to the calendar anyway but not to worry the nice weather is on its way. This would be the perfect time to pull out the riding gear and check it over and see if any repairs need to be done or to get those patches that are in your pocket sewn on. If you find repairs that need attention or patches that need to be sewn on please give us a call and we will see what we can do to get your riding gear fixed up and looking good. So that first ride of year is as nice as you hope it will be.

Good Morning All, Well fall is coming fast, I know some have put their bikes away for the season but others have broken out the heated/insulated gear to extend the season into the late fall. Either way we are here to help in the repair of your gear be it for next spring or to help extend your riding season. If you want a custom vest now is the time to contact Janice it will give her the winter to get you that vest that fits your style.... For those with patches laying around waiting to be sewen on your vest or chaps now is the time to get it done before spring comes and you say I should've had this done over the winter.
