Priest Valley Physiotherapy, Happy Trails and Triumph Coffee are co-sponsoring North Okanagan Cycling Societys Virtual Toonie Ride in Ellison Park this week. Priest Valley Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation and Happy Trails are offering three private 1 on 1, 2 hour lessons with a qualified bike instructor for this week's ride. Enhance your performance behind the bars and dial in your riding technique with this premium coaching experience. As a bonus this week, the sponsors have collaborated on a performance video series to provide tips on how to improve your riding with a focus on body mechanics. In their first video they outline the importance of hip mobility for cornering and descending. Be sure to put these tips to good use when shredding the trails of Ellison for week 8’s Toonie Ride.

Priest Valley Physiotherapy has officially welcomed patients back into the clinic as of Tuesday May 19th. As always, we will be complying with the recommendations of our Public Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, and the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia. Priest Valley Physiotherapy has been closed to in clinic visits as of March 17th, 2020 as per the College of Physical therapists and as per the guidance of our Public Health Officer, Dr.Bonnie Henry (March 31st, 2020). Our clinic has become a designated Interior Health Authority offsite facility for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Orthopaedic Fracture and Cast clinic. A physiotherapy service is being provided for the cast and orthopedic clinic patients, that are deemed emergency... or urgent. This service is a pro bono facility. Please do not drop into the clinic even if people appear to be visiting. In person visits for our regular clients has been suspended since March 17th, 2020 until further notice.
