QAGR MOVIE NIGHT! Join us as we feature, Sama over Zoom, Monday December 7th! This film explores the epic journey of the female experience of war. The story follows the journey of Waad al-Kateab’s life, as she falls in love, gets married and gives birth to Sama, while there is a war going on. Donations are greatly appreciated. This Women’s Wednesday we would like to introduce, Kimberley Motely. Kimberley Motely is an international human rights and civil rights attorney, activist and author from the US. She is the first foreign litigator to have worked within Afghanistan and spends the majority of her time defending Afghani children and women. Since 2008, she has been considered one of the most effective International Human Rights Attorneys and Defense Attorneys operating in Afghanistan. Prior to her journey as an attorney, she was former Mrs. Wisconsin-America in 2004. Motely also has a Ted Talk and has written a book called Lawless.
