"I assisted a Masters student, Prince, in the lab today and together we analyzed water samples from several villages to determine what harmful bacteria was present. The water quality and sanitation aspect of the Karonga field work is in collaboration with the GIS mapping of Cholera patients, their water sources (shallow wells, boreholes, Lake Malawi, etc.), and their latrines. We were able to see hundreds of women go...ing through these two rooms working with some wonderful midwives and students.
