Congratulations to Penelope Armstrong for winning a SHAD scholarship for her project at the 2019 Canada Wide Science Fair!

We did it! We’re on the map!

AND THEY’RE OFF!!! Finalists Lena Chown, Alysha Lippert, and Penelope Armstrong along with Delegate JF Latour and Alternate Janet Armstrong are heading to the 2019 CWSF in Fredericton, New Brunswick today! This is the first time the Qikiqtaaluk Region has been represented at the CWSF since 2002 so let’s give them all a big round of applause and wish them luck on this exciting adventure!... The finalists will be returning to Iqaluit on May 18 after a fun and exciting week of science with the dome of the brightest young minds in Canada.
