Here is the new schedule for the 2019-2020 art classes.

Qingbo's School Of Art 02.10.2020

Another week of successful Rainbow Art Summer Camp! I heard amazing feedback from parents and friends. We had so much fun together again this week. We designed our own clocks, we recreated famous paintings on foam boards as photo cutouts, we redesigned T-shirts into brand-new creations, made 3D paper pictures, made a mini garden by adding real plants, toy animals, ponds, rocks, path, fences... and so much more... Other than the main project for each day, we also did fun mini-...projects, like decorating sunglasses, painting rocks, and making surprise messages to send to loved ones in a glass bottle! The art show on Friday went really well too. We started with a fashion show and followed it up with each camper's presentation. They picked one of their favorite projects to present with their speech. I'll see some of you in September art classes and some of you next summer at the camp again! Enjoy your summer! See more

We had such a successful Rainbow Art Summer Camp week at Kingston Christian School 1212 Woodbine Rd. this year! Everything worked out perfectly. Below are the main projects we did each day: Day 1: We made a lamp out of empty glass bottles, painted inside with rainbow colors, with a shiny bowl on top taped with tiny rights so it actually lights up. Day 2. We painted the night sky with northern lights on black canvas, making the painting really pop! The black canvas was hard ...to draw on, since the pencil was also black, but all the students managed it really well in the end. Day 3: Redesigned T-shirts! Some campers cut them up and some of them painted on them to make them look really interesting and cool. Day 4: We made a pizza out of real pizza boxes, and painted cardboard and used modelling clay for pizza ingredients. Day 5: We prepared the Rainbow Art Summer Camp art show in the morning, then made a rainbow out of non-perishable food on burlap canvas. Then we had our successful art show in the afternoon. Other than the main project we made keyhangers, flower wreaths, metal star decorations with painted spiraling keyboards and music notes, towel puppets, magic wands, and so much more... We enjoyed doing our art works, sharing healthy snacks and playing our games together. It was a wonderful week, and a great learning experience for all of us! We still have one more week of art camp to go! It runs from July 22nd - 26th from 9am-4pm. There are STILL some spaces LEFT! It's $40 a day and $195 per week (the price includes the snacks). The price for such an immersive art experience is one of the most reasonable in the city. If you are interested in sending your child or children to the camp, please call or text me at 613-331-1128 or email me at [email protected]. Finally, I want to say a big thank you to all the helpers and group leaders, Asia, Sophie, Andrew, Annie, Fiona, Christine and Chloe. We could not have done it without you!
