While Easter celebrations may look different this year, these adorable Spring-into Easter Cutouts are an easy treat to make at home. Heres what youll need: 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 cup granulated sugar... 1 egg 2 tablespoons low fat milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 cup Large Flake Quaker Oats or Quick Quaker Oats (uncooked) 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt Assorted small candies or coloured sugars Egg glaze* Instructions 1. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, oats, baking soda and salt; mix well. 2. Divide dough in half for easier handling. Cover; chill 2 to 3 hours. 3. Heat oven to 350F. Roll out dough to 1/8 inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut with floured 2 to 3 inch Easter themed cookie cutters. 4. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets; leave plain or brush with egg glaze. 5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Decorate the plain cookies with pastel tinted icing and Easter candies. Easter is around the corner, and @abbeyskitchen created these adorable Easter Egg Oatmeal Cookie Cups that the whole family will love. What Youll Need - 1 cups quick cooking oats - 2 tbsp ground flax... - 2 tbsp hemp hearts - 2/3 cup plus cup almond butter, divided - 1/2 cup maple - 1 tsp vanilla - tsp salt - cup unsweetened shredded coconut, divided - cup minced up chocolate candy eggs - 20 mini chocolate candy eggs . Instructions 1. To a large food processor, add the oats, flax, hemp hearts, 2/3 cup almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, salt and cup coconut. Process until mixed throughout. 2. Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle in the minced candy eggs. 3. Press two-tablespoon balls into mini silicon muffin tins and press a hole into the middle (but not all the way through). 4. Add a small teaspoon or so of almond butter, and a sprinkle of more coconut, then top with one chocolate candy egg. Enjoy at room temperature or out of the fridge. If you love blueberries, bananas or oats, youre going to want to see this amazingly simple #OvernightOats recipe: BLUEBERRY BANANA OVERNIGHT OATS 1/2 cup QUAKER Oats... 1/2 cup low-fat milk 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup blueberries 1/3 cup banana, sliced 1 tsp chia seeds Add QUAKER Oats to your container of choice and pour in milk. Add a layer of blueberries and then a layer of banana slices. Top with chia seeds. Place in fridge and enjoy in the morning or a few hours later!
