We had an online StoryTelling group on Thursday. It was so nice to connect with people all over Manitoba! We had a discussion and played a word game. Everybody ...had a chance to keep working on their communication during this difficult time. So many people are online right now that we had some glitches. We're working them out. COVID-19 Member Update: Hello SpeechWorks has been busy with infection control protocols and setting up services so people can continue with therapy without coming into the office. For years we have provided our services on-line to Rural and Northern Manitoba and Nunavut. Now all that skill is coming in handy for our people in Winnipeg who want to continue their therapy without leaving home.... We are seeing our groups and people individually (children and adults) on camera. In light of the rapidly changing and very contagious COVID-19 Virus, Effective Immediately, Vintage Wellbeing Footcare Ltd. will be suspending Footcare Services until further notice. This decision was made after consulting with the Government of Manitoba website on COVID-19, and consulting with multiple Infectious Disease Doctors, Pharmacists, and Nursing Colleagues. We have concluded that we need to stop the spread of this Virus now and that means stopping all non-essential... health care services at this time period.
