It has been quite the year but we were reminded this morning by the guests who stayed last January, who translated breakfast was amazing on their phones to share with us. The few local guests who stayed this year, some who returned several times were so very grateful and appreciated the extras. They left touching messages and gifts. So we celebrate another year of giving our very best to our guests, a place to relax and refresh.

There is a magic in a wintry evening with twinkling lights, snowy splendour under a dove gray sky. This stately street along the icy river banks echos the whispers of over three hundred years.

The Honkers are on an extended #staycation with us. They set up a little side business on the front porch. Stop by for a photo op or if you are looking for a very tiny tree.

We remember those who have served and honour those serving this Remembrance Day.
