Hey there parents! As you know here at QHS the platform we use for online learning with your child is, Microsoft Teams. Your child has access through their Microsoft 365. If you do not have Microsoft Teams you can still have access. QHS resource teacher, Annie Aube reached out to our tech. person at the school board with this question>. The following YouTube video will help you navigate towards getting set up with Teams for any meetings you may have with a staff member at QHS. Hope this helps! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pauAUOl8v4

Wow, what a powerful email I received today from a QHS Alumni. This was a letter from the Principal of QHS, Mr. Handsomebody, yes, you read that right. We actually have a meeting room at QHS named after him. Well, apparently he was asked for a letter of reference for one of his students that was looking to join the Air Force. Little did principal Handsombody know that Roland Pettigrew would be killed in action during WW2. Here is what the letter says, "Roland Pettigrew ...was a pupil of mine for the year 1938-39. He was in our fifth form (ie. grade 6) He did not take the final exam for private reasons. I always found Pettigrew a perfect gentleman and I should have liked him to stay with me longer. I can strongly recommend him to you." J. T. Handsombody, Rector March 27, 1941. To the attention of the Commanding Officer of the Royal Air Force. Powerful stuff!
