Music lessons started today! Piano and guitar students growing their brains all over the place!! This Ted Talk is very informative as well as entertaining. It's science talk for "normies", like me, (not neuroscientists) and explains what happens in your brain when you play a musical instrument. The short version?? queen St. Music Studio had it's first student this week! Little Miss M was delightful and learned at the speed of lighting! She was so cute, telling me in a worried voice at the beginning of the lesson that she didn't know how to read music. By the end I asked her, "Who can read music NOW?"... "ME!!!!!!!" SO excited!! Part of her homework was to make a short composition - can't wait till next week to see what she created :)
