The instrument we all like to joke about the most is the trombone and you better not forget that bass trombone or it will remind you! This may be the section that has the most fun.

The exception to the brass in brass band. This section keeps the band on time (cough or watching the conductor) and they have to handle more instruments at one time than anyone else.

We can’t forget this part of the horn section who also hangs out with cornets! Despite being developed in Germany, this instrument is another British brass band staple but is also found in jazz bands and orchestras.
