QMPCL is holding a virtual Pumpkin Carving/Decorating contest for Halloween! Are you proud of your pumpkin decorating/carving skills? Send us pictures of your beautiful handiwork and receive a Halloween goody bag from the Community League! Rules:... 1. Carve, paint, or decorate your pumpkin 2. Submit a photo of your finished pumpkin to [email protected] 3. Submissions must include your name and address (must be in QMP) 4. Photos must be submitted by midnight October 30, 2020 Please note: By submitting your photo, you agree that Queen Mary Park Community League can share your pumpkin photo through our Social Media channels (email/Facebook/Instagram).

This year's Mobile Community Bin Event was a huge success! What was originally planned to be a one day event turned into two 10+ hr days for our crew! - collecting approximately 25 tonnes of unwanted items, including over 25 mattresses and 8 fridge/freezers! A HUGE thank you is owed to our fantastic volunteers who made this FREE event happen, the fabulous folks at Bye Bye Junk, and all those who took part!

Update re: the Mobile Community Bin Event! Our crew was overwhelmed by the response from the community and were unable to make it to every household for pick up today. If you were missed today please know they will be back tomorrow!

This year the QMPCL Community Bin event is coming to you! We'll pick up furniture, appliances, yard debris, renovation materials, mattresses, dead car batteries, etc. - Pick up is limited to single family dwellings at this time - Each household is limited to the disposal of 2 appliance/mattresses and 8 smaller items - As with regular garbage pick up, items must be placed in the alley where they will be easily accessible for our crew - Our crew will not remove items from insid...e houses or garages - Environmental products such as chemicals, oil, paint, etc will not be accepted - All items must be set out for pick up by 10pm Friday, Oct. 9th This is a FREE event sponsored in collaboration with Queen Mary Park Community League and the City of Edmonton Central McDougall/Queen Mary Park Revitalization Program.
