Thanksgiving can be filled with all the cliché quotes and sentiments. We all know we should be thankful, but in the day to day, it’s often overlooked and rarely do we reflect all the BIG things we should actually be truly Thankful for. Within Queens Manor, it’s perpetual Thanksgiving. Our residents take the time to be thankful for the warm cup of tea, the touch of a hand, the extra helping at lunch, the minute of extra attention, in fact our residents are those of whom t...hat teach us that Thank you means thankfulness each and everyday big or small. When we walk into work each day, we are greeted by not only residents that appreciate all that we do, but also staff members that work as a team to help one another out. We show gratitude each day, by saying Thank you. Though we do not think we are thankful day to day-We really are. So we urge you, as you carve into that bird this weekend whether big or small, thank someone for making you smile, thank someone for passing you the gravy, thank someone for being your shoulder to cry on-the small things are the BIG things. Enjoy your weekend, and know with confidence that those of us in Queens Manor are truly thankful each and everyday. See more

Pilgrim Pub afternoon! We are celebrating Thanksgiving and music and drink and basically everything!!!! Fun times and as you can see many laughs were had!

Bloodsport when it comes to this crowd and BINGO. They look so sweet and innocent though.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, staff and residents worked with Laurie to craft a gratitude pumpkin. Contributions ranged from Family to chocolate and everything in between. It’s great to be grateful for the small things too!

Yesterday was bittersweet! We are so happy to welcome our Adult Day Program Coordinator, Michelle back from maternity leave. However, that means we have to say farewell to Brenda. We’re wishing her all the best and can’t thank her enough
