Queen's University Bachelor of Health Sciences 15.01.2021

On Thursday, January 21st, join Dr. Michael Adams at our first BHSc Town Hall of 2021. These town halls are a great chance to connect with the program office and your fellow students, hear about BHSc program updates, and to ask questions or raise any concerns that you might have in an open and informal setting. The session starts on Zoom @ 2pm (ET). You can find the link in the most recent BHSc Beat Newsletter, and we will be sending out a reminder next week. We hope to see you there!

Have you completed our Examity, Elentra, and BHSc Fall activities survey yet? If you haven't, be sure to check your email for the link and fill it out before Sunday, Jan. 17th! The feedback of our students is incredibly important to us and helps us determine what is working and what we can do to make your overall experience even better. This survey is to get your feedback on the changes we have made to Examity, Elentra, your overall experiences with BHSc activities in the Fall term, and your interest in enrolling for summer courses.

In the Bachelor of Health Sciences program you’ll learn how the human body functions in health and disease, how it defends itself against microbes and pathogens, and how medications are used to combat infection and disease. At the same time, you will also examine the societal context of health and health-care with a global lens, something that is often overlooked in other undergraduate health sciences programs. We have planned a variety of webinars over the next few months for students considering applying to the Bachelor of Health Sciences program. Check out the full schedule and register for a session here: https://bhsc.queensu.ca/virtual-open-house
