Getting a free flu vaccine will protect you against the most common strains of influenza and help you avoid getting sick - which may be a source of stress for students. If you have symptoms related to COVID-19, use the Queen’s SeQure app self-assessment tool. Anyone who screen positive needs to self-isolate and get tested. Queen’s students in Kingston can book an appointment at the Satellite Assessment Centre by calling SWS at 613-533-2506. Find up-to-date hours at www.queensu.ca/studentwellness/sws-updates. It typically takes 3-5 days to get COVID-19 test results. Students from Ontario can check their results online at covid-19.ontario.ca. Out-of-province and international students can call SWS 3-5 days after their appointment to get their test results. Please be patient as our phone lines are busy.
This 8-week professionally facilitated psycho-educational program is for Queen’s & St. Lawrence College students to receive support for issues they may be experiencing related to substance use, misuse or abuse.
