On Transgender Day of Remembrance, me and Carlisle - on the Ontario Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf board - will be presenting in ASL (American Sign Language) all the basics about transness to stop the transphobia that kills us. Fuck Remembrance Day/Veterans Day. I don't see the point of participating in an imperialist celebration of military. BUT we should remember and celebrate all of us Black and Indigenous women, alive or dead, who contributed and still contribute to make the world what it is today. We can celebrate that Donald Trump is out, but also remember: Joe Biden is a return of the USA to normalcy (not as in goodness but I don't know how to articulate further than that).
