Thrilled afresh with these words this morning... Too good to be true? Perhaps it is too good not to be true? :) John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that H...e gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." I'll be the first to admit there are a lot of complex ideas, concepts, and doctrines in the Bible... Sometimes you need to sit down with this ray of light from heaven to earth, from the voice of the Son of God Himself to the heart of every individual, and bask in the wonder and awe that you are loved by God! Are you afraid to believe it? Have you been hurt by those who claimed to love you? Father, Mother, friend, religious authority figure, spouse, etc.? Don't be. His love is so pure, so changeless, so different. It is by His mercy we are alive today, and this call jumps off the pages of Scripture from God's heart to yours. Don't be afraid to receive His love as genuine. It's the most real reality that exists. You need it. You know you need it. It's what you've desperately wanted to be true all your life. And yet you hesitate. Don't worry, that hasn't changed His love. Scroll back up and read those words again... Amidst the turmoil, confusion, hate, and division, there is One who is above all others. One who has the answers. One who satisfies the deepest longings of the human consciousness. His name is Jesus. His incarnation, death, life, resurrection, and intervention in life stand as a clear declaration to all, God is not a great cosmic killjoy, He is the lover of your soul, the One who truly, deeply, infinitely cares for you. Believe it. Let it permeate your entire existence. Don't run. Allow His embrace to change the way you see everything. God loves you. When is the last time this has blown you away, brought tears to your eyes, brought awe to your soul? I pray that you will be able to say... Today. Don't be turned away from the simplicity that is in Jesus Christ. Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so! Enjoy it today... enjoy Him today... How excellent is the name of the Lord in all the earth!

6 November bdays in our church !

Many expressions of brotherly love... "Show a little bit of love and kindness, never go around with hatred's blindness, take a little time to reach for joy, and... wear a happy face..." What does today hold? The Lord knows, we are called to love Him and love people. Please pray for open doors for the gospel as we continue to reach out locally to have discussions with people and declare that Jesus is the one true hope for life, now and forever. :)
