Coming to the West Side, Quesnel! The Yoga Hut is providing a mini, 6-week, yoga session at our Elks Hall starting mid to late November! Option 1: Friday nights @ 5:30... Option 2: Monday mornings @ 10:00 These will be gentle/yin based classes, great for beginners to guru's. 1 hour long class once a week for 6 weeks. Drop in potentially available as well We will be following all Covid-19 safety protocols set in place by both the Elks hall, and the studio's own set of safety plans. Social distancing will be in place throughout classes, as well as limiting the amount of attendees. COST: $72.00 per person if minimum amount of participants is reached. We would like to take a moment to thank our PER (Past Exalted Ruler) for all of her hard work and dedication to our organization these last four years. Lynnsy Noll joined our lodge as a member and was elected as ER (Exalted Ruler) one year into her membership with the Quesnel Elks #298. She also served as our Lodge Historian and as the Social Media Director. Under her leadership, our lodge increased their membership by more than 50%, which helped us receive the Vern Hoff Awa...rd. She was the first female ER/President for the Quesnel Elks and the youngest ER/President in history of the Elks of Canada. She was also hand selected to serve on the Membership Board for BC Elks by the next BC President, Barbara Gee. It is with sadness that we announce she has stepped down from her post and retired from the organization for the time being. But with this change, we welcome the new President, Nickie Jansen.
