Late post lol and I wish I got more and better pictures but unfortunately my main outlet is Instagram and Instagram stories meaning a lot of 15 second videos, b...ut anyways. Just wanted to say Josh Cabezas and Pancho Puelles did an amazing job organizing a project in some prominent places through out Winnipeg, showing what is happening in Chile 2019. Joshua made a video portraying different things like the murders, riots, police brutality but also captured the way the Chilean people have come united, it’s an awesome quick video of everything and it’s an awesome project these two have begun and have us the opportunity to spread the word! Just to explain a little more of the concept (from my understanding for better info definitely ask Josh or Pancho) they basically were going to different locations from about 7:00pm to after 10:00pm last night, they began alone and a few of us met up with them mid way through. They had a projector and would place the video on walls for everyone to see, the whole idea is to spread awareness and a form of news in an interesting way that can catch the eye of any passerby here in Winnipeg as 1 the news in Chile is not presenting the proper information and 2 many people outside of Chile are not made aware, and in this day and age the best way to spread news is on social media. Be sure to share this and Joshs post and keep the conversation going, the people in Chile are still going strong protesting and demanding their human rights and they need our help! As I’ve said before guys the best way for us to help is spreading the word, keep sharing, keep talking about it, don’t be afraid to answer questions and definitely keep yourselves informed online!! Keep an eye out as they’re planning to do this again, maybe next time we can gather a bigger group and see where this goes! Again amazing job Josh and Pancho!
