IMAGINE before you were born you were just a little spark of light connected to the creative force of the universe. You looked down on this great earth. What a beautiful planet filled with wonderous life forms. You pondered the possibility of life on earth and that its preciousness was created to experience love, light, joy, peace, harmony, equality. Each week a group of lovely light energy seeking people come to attend and share their light energies with each other and the u...niverse through guided relaxation and visualization. We go deep inside to a centered place where we experience a state of harmony and love. It allows you to use your creativity and imagination to help you feel and see your internal light. Practice letting your light shine through you during the day and night times. As you get in touch with your own light and shine it in your life, you will change your vibration. As we gather our lights together and share it in the world, we change the vibration of the planet. Children always shine their light so show them how to use it for calm and healing for themselves. All life is of the light. We join together in a great circle and web of light with endless possibilities. Tuesday evenings at 7 pm at our studio at 37 Woodsview Ave, Grimsby, On. The mind wants to be peaceful; this is really its natural state. But there are so many distractions and cravings that can obscure our peaceful nature. A characteristic of our time is the speed of our daily lives. Everything is a rush. Meditation can slow us down so that we touch our true nature. Any meditation can help us. The object of our contemplation could be a flower, a religious image, or a positive feeling. Or it could be our own bodies. One especially rich way ...to develop a peaceful mind is to meditate upon the body. By doing this, we promote the welfare of our whole being. Through meditation and guided relaxation we can learn how to encourage our minds to create a feeling of peace in the body. When we see the body as peaceful and beautiful, who or what is creating these feelings? The mind is. By creating peaceful feelings in the body, the mind is absorbed in those feelings. So although the body is the object to be healed, it also becomes the means of healing the mind -- which is the ultimate goal of meditation. Be well, be kind, be love. See more

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of the universe. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine,... as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of the universe that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. Hope to see you Tuesday at 7 pm. Destressify!! A controlled study published in 2000 looked at 90 cancer patients who did mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) meditation for 7 weeks. They found that people who meditated had 31% lower stress symptoms and 67% less mood disturbance than people who did not meditate.

Hello! Thought I would share a picture of a Meditation Workshop I attended this week. It was hosted by a lovely lady at Yoga Truly in Grimsby. We stirred up some wonderful energy and left feeling so rejuvinated. She practices Kundalini energy with lots of breathing and sounds. Really neat! A little something about Meditation Meditating is linked to stress reduction, and as we know, stress is a major cause of disease in the body. Meditation makes you smarter. Studies show t...hat meditating facilitates neuroplasticity. This is the brain's ability to build new pathways. Research is showing that meditators develop greater emotional abilities. They have a greater ability to perceive thier own thoughts and feelings; to harness those thoughts and feelings for high level problem solving and other cognitive tasks. We harness our emotions for our greater good. By connecting with our breath and keeping a regular meditation practice, we keep manifesting what we want to come to us in our lives. When we think positive thoughts about ourselves and our lives and clear out those negative energies, we exude an energy of confidence and in turn attract great experiences into our lives. Each thought you have informs your energy, and your energy manifests into your experiences. Your thoughts and energy create your reality. This week lets do some concentrated breath work together and go deep into our own psyche's so that we enable healing and positive vibrations to manifest.
