I was feeling sad that our annual spring camping trip to @killarneypp has to be cancelled this year. We should have been there next week. Im aching to be north, with the animals...the birds...the trees. The sounds and smells of nature. The beginni...ngs of buds on the trees....the baby animals and animal families. Last year we sat and watched a Mama moose and her baby in the rain and the year before we had a mama bear and her cubs stroll right through our campsite as I was cooking breakfast! . But just as I was feeling down, I looked out my own backyard and noticed a robins nest and was quickly reminded of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. . It might not be Killarney, but the trees in my backyard are budding, the smell of spring is in the air with the blossoms on the magnolia trees, and I have birds and soon baby birds to watch! . I was feeling sad that our annual spring camping trip to @killarneypp has to be cancelled this year. We should have been there next week. Im aching to be north, with the animals...the birds...the trees. The sounds and smells of nature. The beginni...ngs of buds on the trees....the baby animals and animal families. Last year we sat and watched a Mama moose and her baby in the rain and the year before we had a mama bear and her cubs stroll right through our campsite as I was cooking breakfast! . But just as I was feeling down, I looked out my own backyard and noticed a robins nest and was quickly reminded of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. . It might not be Killarney, but the trees in my backyard are budding, the smell of spring is in the air with the blossoms on the magnolia trees, and I have birds and soon baby birds to watch! . I hope you are having a great weekend! . Weve been waiting all week for a big shipment to come in but its been rather slow getting to us.
