It’s a new year and there’s a new litter of recycled wool critters to celebrate. There are bunnies and bears and kitties and mice, all ready to join the owls already at the market. Didn’t I have fun?

Jack and I spent several hours yesterday at the Farmer’s Market getting my booth space ready for the market on Saturday. I had stopped marketing just before the... pandemic shutdown, so it was a start from scratch exercise. quilted chaos is in the same spot as before, but with just a little less real estate. There’s a different booth arrangement because I have to be behind a table, but that’s ok. I will have a selection of most of my usual products, plus some masks. And, of course, I’m always interested in discussing special projects! There is one big change, though. The market will now open at 9:30. I think that’s wonderful, because I wasn’t looking forward to being on the road at the crack of dawn again. So, I hope to see you at the market. As we used to say back in the dark ages: Be there or be square!

It’s time to make something other than face masks. So, I decided on a Celtic knot tote bag. Here are the raw materials. I’ll post a pic of it when it’s done...

Making a mask delivery to the Farmers Market store tomorrow. About 70 masks, mostly adult size. Child and youth next week.

quilted chaos Cape Breton is sewing again after the big downsize and move! These are some masks I made for myself, pattern thanks to my talented daughter, Char...lotte. They have three layers, a wired nose fitting and are machine washable. I will make them to order, $5 each. Message me or email to [email protected].
