Client Quilt - Sugar Skulls! I love it when I get a new technique to work with! The quilt came in with all of the embellishments, so it was a custom quilting task. Five designs related to the fabric theme were stitched into those raw-edge-decorative-strip layers. Piano keys all around and in the sashing contains the party! A finish of my own! This is "Interlocking Stars", my 5th iteration if this design. This one was created as a demo for a workshop provided to my Chatham Kent Quilters Guild. The fabrics are Kaffe Fassett on a Tangerine Grunge background. The backing is the brilliant Grunge Cobalt. I love how the brilliant orange thread looks on the blue! Quilted with the digital design "Ikat 4" and @habanddash Glide "Arizona Sky".
