Today I was happy to share the news that over $2 million in Federal funding will be spent on Indigenous Agricultural initiatives across Canada! Over $1 million ...will go to Native Women's Association of Canada for Indigenous plant pilot program, and approximately $1 million for the Indian Agricultural Program Of Ontario to expand its programs. No one should ever have to worry about putting food on the table or keeping their family fed. So to make sure Canadians have the food they need, when they need ...it most, we’re investing another $100 million in food banks and food organizations across the country. With this funding, they can buy and distribute the food they need including to Northern and Indigenous communities. They can hire workers where volunteers aren’t available. And they can buy personal protective equipment to keep people safe.

The Second World War Tribute program honours the sacrifices and achievements of Canada’s WWII Veterans. Any living Canadian who served with the Canadian Forces,... the Canadian or British Merchant Navy, or any other Allied force is eligible to receive the tribute lapel pin and certificate. The Second World War Tribute was introduced in September 2014 to mark the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the Second World War.
