Nobody loves a giant BBQ party more than we do, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of HPEC has had to make the very difficult decision to cancel Quinte Ribfest 2020. While August is still months away we recognize that, with the current COVID-19 situation, this is not the time to continue planning this large undertaking. We continue to monitor the provincial medical officer's guidelines for large gatherings as we emerge from the COVID-19 crisis and are brainstorming ideas for a sp...ecial summer celebration when it is safe to do so...stay tuned. Quinte Ribfest is the main fundraiser for our organization, and this will definitely affect our ability to support families and volunteers benefiting from our mentoring programs. At this time, we would like to acknowledge the support of our sponsors, vendors and volunteers who make this annual event such a success. We can't wait to see you all again!
