Santa Claus is coming to Quispamsis for one night only this week. Although the traditional Kennebecasis Valley Santa Claus Parade will not be held, due to COV...ID-19, the Town of Quispamsis has devised a plan to see the Jolly Old Elf in person. A drive-thru Selfie with Santa will be available this Wednesday (Nov. 18) from 6-8 pm in the Arts and Culture Park. Santa will be near the cul-de-sac on Landing Court, where vehicles can stop for a quick wave and photo. Traffic flow will be one-way only: Vehicles must enter at Landing Court and exit from the KV Bowling Lanes/Valley Sands driveway. Members of the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force will be on site to assist with traffic control. To ensure everyone’s safety, people must remain in their vehicle at all times, and pedestrians will not be permitted in the park during the event. Drivers are expected to proceed with caution. Mrs. Claus and I know this has been a difficult year, Santa Claus said. I hope to see you on Wednesday, but please stay in your car, and I want to remind the adults to drive carefully. Ho ho ho! The traditional tree-lighting ceremony at the Arts and Culture Park will not take place. The Holiday Dreamland display will be lit up later. See more
