BE IN THE KNOW - 3 Things You Should Know About Life Insurance Can anyone get life insurance? EVERYONE can get approved for life insurance. Many people believe they cannot get approved because they have been denied by one or many companies in the past. However, there are reputable companies who guarantee acceptance (CPP, IA, Western Life etc.) up to $50,000 coverage. If your health is stable, you will likely be approved for much more than $50,000 of coverage.... If you are considered a high risk client, rates will be higher resulting in more expensive coverage. To counter this, one should decrease the coverage amount to make the monthly premium something that works for that individual’s budget. How much do I need? The amount of coverage you need is calculated in many different ways, but realistically, the ideal coverage amount vs what you can actually afford aren’t always the same. Instead, start with funeral expenses (10-20K) and increase slowly to consider other things if you feel comfortable with a higher premium than the bare minimum: 10 years income replacement, mortgage, children’s education plan and then onto more complex things: estate fees, asset protection, gifts etc. Many advisors persuade their clients into purchasing policies that leave them insurance broke Be aware of this and always choose a policy that you believe is still affordable even amidst financial hardship. This will protect you against the dreaded cancellation of a much needed policy because you ‘bit off more than you could chew’. How much will it cost? Alright. Now down to the payments Let’s get into it. Firstly, it is extremely likely that a policy exists for you for under $50.00/mon. It may take some creativity, but here is a list of things you can do to decrease the monthly premium: T100 instead of Whole Life - a cheaper variation of permanent coverage that excludes cash value Term instead of permanent coverage - a sure fire way to decrease monthly premiums (opting into temporary coverage will result in more expensive premiums once the term finishes) Decrease coverage amount - you might be over insured think hard about why you have as much coverage as you do. There’s a good chance your family would be absolutely fine with significantly less coverage. Simplified issue instead of a rated policy - If your insurer is charging you 200% or 300% standard rates because of your health, then you are with the wrong insurance provider. Other companies will offer better rates through their simplified, no medical products that still have rock solid track records and A+ ratings with the BBB. Don’t settle for a rated policy.

What is a vlog, and how does one vlog? Well, to make it simple, here is the definition: a vlog is a personal website or social media account, where a person regularly posts short videos. Are you interested in vloging, and are hoping to begin a vlog? We have a few easy steps for you to engage in, in order to make this experience a lasting one! 1. Find your niche (your passion) and run with it! Examples of this can be: cooking, running, weightlifting, etc.,... 2. Create a social media profile on the most popular social platforms, in order to increase views! This can be done on platforms such as Facebook, and Instagram! For an extra tip, create a flashy and cool name (or keep your real one) in order to draw attention, and make it more personal! 3. Grab your phone, or any device with a camera, and start recording your day! You can begin talking about a few things you’re going to be accomplishing during that time, or, if you’re not comfortable speaking, using text is another great form of communication! 4. After releasing and building your awesome content, you’ll need to construct a schedule in which you’ll be releasing your following videos. This aids in keeping you motivated to post (and film) and to keep your viewers ready! Our suggestion is to post 5 aspects of your day on your story (such as your meals or fun activities you’ll be engaging in) and one full video; sometime during the week. 5. Finally, do research! There are so many amazing and creative ways to fill your day, create content, and vloging just so happens to be a great way to do so! However, as an added bonus, you can also research ways in which you can run your own paid advertisement on platforms such as: Facebook and Instagram - that will allow you to reach a greater audience and greater success! We hope this will help in getting you out of your comfort zone, break that barrier that’s in front of you, and start creating a following that we know, you deserve! Why? Because finding something fun and creative to do in these times can be HARD. Good luck QuoteWay Family
