AUTISM ONTARIO UPDATE: Another round of letters have been sent out for the Hanen Speech and Language Programs by the OAP for children who were on the waitlist under the age of 7. This is an optional program that families can access for free. If you want more information regarding this, please see this link: http://www.hanen.org/OAP/ The transition from Childhood Budgets to Interim One-Time Funding has been outlined on the Ministry’s website. There are still a lot of questions... that still have to be answered by the Ministry, if families are need support. Autism Ontario is providing information about ASD, common acronyms that they might hear, funding options, and an introduction to the OAP.
