If I had my way I would plan the absolute largest one day protest on capital hill Ottawa to get federal financial support for everyone dependant on the racing business in Canada , tracks , series , dedicated racing media , all the arms of Canadian racing that lost everything this season . If we have picket signs , and race cars lots and lots of track & track staff , if we could get thousands of people to turn out the impact would be noticed and we would have a voice ! And ho...pefully get some movement to help everyone. There are protests for everything under the sun and they make a difference. The more we can get out them more impact there would be . A move like this just may save you local race track or series ,one thing we can guarantee if we do nothing we will get nothing . Give it some thought . Give us your comments . Fans often say the ALSTAR series was well followed , I was looking through an old Sauble Speedway program and seen this ad from 2003 , every race was live on am 560 Owen Sound radio and streamed on the internet was fairly new back then . Radio grows fans same is true today .

I see some tracks are having rules meeting for 2021 for all classes . One big question I have , if the class didn’t really run in 2020 , maybe a few times ...how far can rules be off ? And every time a rule changes it costs everyone money in that class ...I would think saving money would be in order not really spend more . Just my opinion. The United 8’s & combined 4’s unfortunately didn’t get a chance to start this year but there is 2 classes that won’t cost anyone extra doe , just show up and race in 2021 at Sauble . All drivers that were paid registered in 2020 will get full value in 2021 , it’s a full push from this year to next . This new way of doing things will prove to be even more powerful then 2020 .if you do the same thing year after year you’ll get the same results . 2021 will be exciting at the beach !

We are so excited for #Frostoberfest and our first and only Live race broadcast of 2020 Covid 19 really did in all of our original plans and broadcast schedule, joining us that day on air will be the voice of Sauble Speedway Jim Irvine and Gerry Paxton was the voice of Flamboro Speedway-Authorized Page for well over 20 years before joining RTR on a regular basis , to have both these veteran announcers will be a real treat for listeners nationwide and for the first time @Tracy Hoskins will keep us up to date from the pits getting comments from teams as it happens . Fans won’t be allowed to attend October 3rd but I guarantee RTR will get you closer all day long .
