NEW PODCAST EPISODE I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Andrew Jones, owner of The Daily Grind 519 and an all-around amazing human. We had a killer conversation about his career journey of working in the construction industry for 19+ years, and how he's able to run not one but *two* businesses alongside a full-time job ... And that's not all! Andrew also shares what inspired the idea for The Daily Grind 519, what it is that drives him to continue growing both businesses (and it’s NOT money), and the biggest piece of advice he has for anyone who dreams of starting their own business. This is a heck of an inspiring episode, let me tell ya! So be sure to tune in by searching "Career Rebel" on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, or by heading to CareerRebelPodcast.com : Julia Busato Photography #careerpodcast #careers #careercoach #careeradvice #careertips #careerinspiration

NEW PODCAST EPISODE Is there something you want to pursue, like really, really want to pursue, but you just can’t manage to break through your fear and go for it? If so, you're not alone! Until very recently, I was in exactly the same situation ... In today’s *brand new* episode of Career Rebel, I’m gettin' realll personal about a revelation I had this past summer around something I’ve wanted to do for more than 18 YEARS I'll also be sharing the three fears that have been holding me back (including one BIG one), and what these fears have actually been trying to tell me all along. This is an off-the-cuff episode, and by far my most vulnerable one yet, but I hope it'll inspire you to feel your fears, and then pursue your dreams anyway! I recently had the pleasure of being on the All Personal Podcast, hosted by Roxana Radulescu, and what an incredible conversation we had Roxana and I talk about how the the rebel in me was born, my journey of becoming a career coach for rebellious peeps (like me), and SO MUCH MORE, including: How I realized that even though I followed all the rules, and did everything according to the rules, I was still so unhappy ... How asking the question ‘what else could be possible?’ can be a pivotal moment for many of us What were some of the strong skills muscles that helped me make the shift from corporate to business, and the skills muscles I had to work on growing How some corporations lose so much talent because they’re not flexible to make room for the various talents that people bring, and allow them to move where they fit best How we all want to contribute, make a difference and work with purpose, and realize there’s much more we can do Why passion, values and skills are THE place where we can find real magic and how to do that You can check it out right here https://bit.ly/3CqTAQA

NEW PODCAST EPISODE I think we can all agree that making a career change can feel scary, right? This is especially true if you’ve never made one before and don’t know what to expect. ... Which is why, in this *brand new* episode of Career Rebel, I'm walking you through the three phases of the career change process. PLUS, I share how you can begin this process without needing to know what kind of work you want to pursue next Yup, you read that right! Believe it or not, making a career change is actually about sooo much more than which path you go down next and the work you end up doing. Trust me when I say you'll wanna tune into this episode, 'cause it's a hella important one. Dear 2020... I know we've all been talkin' a lotta shit about you over the past nineish months, but I just wanted to say thanks. Thanks for reminding us how precious life is. ... Thanks for making us slow down and reevaluate what's realllly important. Thanks for forcing us to confront the uncomfortable so that we can grow as individuals, and a species. Thanks for showing us that hope is louder than fear. Thanks for exercising the hell out of our creativity. Thanks for giving us the time to try new hobbies, and resurrect old ones from dusty closets. Thanks for letting us unabashedly live in comfy pants all day, erryday. But mostly, thanks for showing us just how incredibly resilient we are. For reminding us of the strength we so often forget that we have. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything But I think I speak for all of us when I say we are SO. DAMN. READY. for what's next #bringon2021 #happynewyear #newyear #readyforwhatsnext #freshstart #bringiton #grateful

I LOVE talking to people about their careers (surprise, surprise ). So I was thrilled to be invited to co-host an episode of the Let's Talk Careers show on Radio Regent, alongside anchor host Ayesha Khan. Ayesha and I interviewed Assad (Sid) Quraishi, the founder of Haunted Castle Gaming. Their mission is to create games that empower their players to learn new skills while developing valuable relationships with fellow players. ... It was amazing to learn about Sid's lifelong passion of developing games, and how that passion fueled him to create his own gaming company. While it started as a side hustle alongside his corporate career, Sid eventually quit his full-time job to go all in on the business and hasn't looked back. It was such an inspiring conversation about following your dreams and what's possible when you decide to create an unconventional career The episode airs next Saturday, December 26th, at 9am EST.
