Well, I really underestimated the amount of torque needed to screw the fitting to the hose. The first printed part didn't work at all. Too weak to handle the torque needed. Second design worked up to a certain point. I broke the second handle with at least 90lbs (lever was ~12in so 90ft-lbs or torque also). I almost felt when it broke... Those hose ends are no joke! When you think about it it make sense. The fitting has 34.8mm screw diameter so it's 109mm circumference x 6 ...threads that's 654mm of metal to metal contact you are trying to turn plus the compression of the hose itself. (AN10 is 207mm and is already hard to screw) I will experiment with a new design and if it doesn't work I'll try other material like wood and then aluminium or just buy a 18$ pipe wrench and modify it with soft jaws... The goal after all is to not scratch the hose end when screwing it. --- Bon, j'ai sous estimé le torque que ca prend pour visser le hose end. La première pièce n'a pas fonctionné du tout. Let but après tout c'est de ne pas égratigner les hose ends quand on les visse.

Made some progress on the Eclipse GT turbo build. Pistons are in, AN20 fittings are welded to the water pump and the other side. It fits pretty tight in the middle of the block. I had to grind a small amount off the block so the water pump could fit (about 1mm) Next I need to 3D print a hose end wrench (last photo) because I have no tool big enough to do the job. That's what she said! The wrench need to be 45mm/1.7in... It's 4.5hours of printing so hopefully it will work. ...Un peu de progrès sur le moteur de l'Eclipse GT turbo. Les pistons sont installés, les fittings sont soudés sur la pompe à eau et sur la pièce opposée. C'est vraiment serré dans le milieu du bloc alors j'ai du enlevé un peu de matériel pour que ca fonctionne (~1mm). Maintenant je dois imprimer un outil pour viser le fitting AN20 parce que je n'ai pas d'outil assez gros. Ça devrait prendre environ 4.5h d'impression alors j'espère que ça va fonctionner...
